What should I pay attention to when designing socks?
Socks can come in all sorts of smells and colours, yet there are a few points to consider.
Make use of our template and keep an eye on the following points:
- Complete the design to the top, the heel is added above this design.
- To match the right yarn, we use PMS colour codes.
- Use up to 5 colours on the design. This includes background, heel, heel and toe.
- Small and detailed elements are not suitable and will drop out.
- For a seamless pattern, the design should blend in on both sides of the design.
If you can't quite figure it out, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to help you on your way.
What colour codes should I use?
The yarn used for the socks is carefully matched with Pantone C colours.
You can also use CMYK, RGB or HEX colour codes, just keep in mind that we convert them to PMS colours approximately.
Important: our yarn comes in all the colours of the rainbow, but never matches 100%. Should you want a piece of assurance, you can order a physical sample pair of your design.
Is there a cost for having a sock designed?
No, we design your socks completely free of charge. Our service is completely free of charge, we are happy to design (multiple) digital drafts for you.
Once we are allowed to take your order into production or need to make a sample, this is always on the customer's request. We will never charge without clearly indicating this in advance.
