2. Collection and processing of personal data

We process personal data that you actively provide to us — in particular when you complete our contact or enquiry form or request a sample. This typically includes: name, company name, email address, telephone number, delivery and billing addresses, as well as the details you provide in your enquiry (e.g. logo, design requirements, quantity).

Purpose: Processing your enquiry, preparing quotations, fulfilling orders and related communication.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (pre-contractual measures/performance of a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest in processing business enquiries).

3. Recipient / Data Processor

To process your enquiry, we use service providers who process data on our behalf (data processing on our behalf in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR):

• CRM / Quotation management: Pipedrive

• Delivery / Logistics: DHL, DeliveryMatch, MyParcel

• Invoicing: Visma

• Email marketing: Mailchimp

• Contract processing: Oneflow

Data processing agreements are in place with these service providers. Data is only transferred to the extent necessary for the stated purpose.

4. Cookies and Web Analytics / Tracking

On this website, we use cookies and similar technologies for marketing and audience measurement purposes. These are used exclusively on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 25(1) of the TDDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings. Technically necessary cookies are used on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Specifically, we use the following services – subject to your consent:

• Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited): to measure the performance of our adverts (conversion-

Tracking) and for the display of remarketing adverts.

• Meta-Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): for measuring and optimising our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, as well as for remarketing.

• Microsoft Advertising / UET Tag (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited): for conversion tracking and optimisation of our adverts on the Bing advertising network.

When using these services, personal data may be transferred to the parent companies in the USA. Where such a transfer to the USA takes place, it is based on appropriate

Guarantees (in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). There is a risk that US authorities may be able to access this data.

5. Retention period

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated, or as required by statutory retention periods (in particular those under commercial and tax law).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object (Art. 21 of the GDPR). To exercise these rights, please contact mike@sokkies.com.
